Author Topic: Me and Beardon are getting some loving awesome 200mw lasers.  (Read 6532 times)

They are a scam, they're pretending like it a super 200 mW raga cigarettea laser. But that doesn't neccesiarrly mean, they suck. They're decent.

If I get scammed, I'll loving know what to do after. I'm denying all help you might be trying to give me because it's all from completely stuffty sources. Seriously, I loving know what I'm doing.
I'm keeping this post for future refrence.

No it would get really hot and fizzle out. Change color a bit too.
I've known friends who have overpowered diodes, and they pop and they get glass in their face/hands.

I bet in 3 weeks there will be a topic saying, "OSHT I BLEW UP A PLANE".

Even if he did get scammed, he would never post it.

A diode glass is tiny, I don't think it could do any damage. Besides, diodes, are suppose to be in there casing, inside a heat sink? How would it get on there faces?

Eh, I should research more. Thanks for making me paranoid about it being a scam though. I don't seem to trust anybody telling me stuff over the internet after a little 'accident'.

When you modify a laser pointer, most models have a small either screw or resister that you remove or twist, on a small rectangular shaped circuit board.

The reason the glass broke so easily,

1 word, China.

Lol, it's called pot modding. Thats why you don't do it, so you don't break the glass. And it wouldn't have exploded unless it's on, which needs the cover over it.

There is no glass in an LED.
