I spawned 10 blocks away from the gravel pit in 404, collapse it, go down the waterfall and get mauled by mobs at the bottom.

LeeroyBlockhead seed is epic. Desert/Forest biome, lava pool, easy to find coal, and one tree on another tree. Also epic oasi(ses)

canadian shield makes epic mountains, the spawn is boring though

Use secret, a BIG DESERT.

Also for even bigger, use 1 + 3 + 3 = 7 With spaces.
