it is most likely a reference, the show is renowned for that. which one i'm unsure of, but i immediately thought the name was similar to Deftones (they apparently also have an album called White Pony)
someone on the team will probably say something sooner or later

edit: Filli Vanilli and Pinkie Pride were written by Amy Keating Rogers, Twilight Time by Dave Polsky, and Simple Ways by Josh Haber
