XP share or have the bug as your first pokémon, then start fighting and switch the bug to your strongest pokémon on the first turn. Every pokémon that takes part in a fight gets a share of the XP.

If you go fight some hard pokémons your level 2 bug might even jump 3 levels a fight.

isn't scatterbug the forgetin weedle/caterpie/wurmple of this gen?
doesn't that stuff evolve at level 14 or something?
