Author Topic: [RESOURCE & HOW TO]Blender exporter and Python support  (Read 3383 times)

Topic says all, and seeing how we have a lot of people are having problems with it, I decided to just post the download to the pre-installed blender.

Exporter won't work unless you have python 2.6.2 installed
Install Python 2.6.2 if you have Windows
Install Python 2.6.2 if you have Mac

If anything goes wrong, install 2.6.3

Install Python 2.6.3 if you have Windows
Install Python 2.6.3 if you have Mac

Demian has provided a version of blender with python already installed

Rather than providing links to Python and packing the exporter with Blender, I have put them all into one. All you need to do is extract, run and start exporting. Simply giving links to Python won't help in most cases. For me Blender 2.49b did not recognize Python regardless of what I did. To fix this you need to put Python straight into the Blender folder. Which is what I did here.
