Nobody really knows who he is besides me, you, Kniaz, or Ragequit, so he's not important to plotline.
If the bit about us discovering the information was included in the In-Game Events, Felix Montoya and his death should be as well. They're directly related and it might lead to something bigger. It's just as crucial as any other event.
All we need is some pictures and captions like...

-A newcomer, named Felix Montoya, was found by Pip in the underground complex
-He was unaware of the survivor base he had been living under
-Pip showed him around, but suddenly, the survivor base was breached!
-Felix's first day above ground, and he has to fight a horde!
-The survivors fight off the horde, but their problems aren't over
-Brock Jericho starts a fuss, and about a dozen survivors chase him, but to no avail
-Jericho escapes by helicopter again

-Pip sees Alek, who missed the action, and tells him about Felix
-They get a big search party and go looking for him, and Pip finds him dead, in the town
-Pip is alone, and is forced to shoot Felix's corpse in the head, to prevent reanimation
-Why was this newcomer so important to Pip and Alek? What does his death mean? What was he doing in the underground complex for all that time?
