YOU BARBECUED THE CAT?!

Cruelty.
But it's a traditional family recipe!

Shot with an iPhone 6, not a fan of the background though

We had a nice barbecue today!

What is the focus supposed to be?
It looks like the most in focus part is the bottle behind the umbrella pole
The cat pic is nice tho

Very recently got a new phone and so far I think it outperforms the iPhone in terms of features and functionality of the camera.  Only thing that still bothers me is noise reduction but having full RAW support and full control over exposure, aperture, ISO and shutter speed is far more valuable than some okay noise reduction.

All taken on an LG G4

I had no idea there were phones that could shoot in RAW. :o

Nice.

I was wondering that as soon as I got the picture from my SD card, I guess there was a glare on the display so I couldn't see, otherwise I probably would have taken it again.

Opinions on low pass/AA filters?
I'll eventually (probably in a year or two) look at upgrading my body, but all of Nikon's latest APS-C sensor cameras have dropped AA filters for (claimed) more sharpness, but at the cost of a risk of moire, and I've heard mixed opinions on whether it's a good or bad trade

Brought my camera to fireworks show last night

Wow. Those look so good they don't even look real. :o

those look incredibly digital, wow

how did you pull that off?

Just long exposures (bulb mode between 3-5 seconds)
And then some basic raw editing to darken the background and make the colors pop more

Why do you need bulb for 3-5 seconds? Usually cameras have shutter speeds at around those lengths. Or was that just so you could hold it as long as you wanted?

Because the length of the explosions are variable and not known
Press as soon as burst starts -> end when it fades

Gotcha gotcha.
