Looks cool, but one thing...
Now that terrain bricks are out, we won't see that well deserved quality blockland used to have with good race track builds.
Now its all terrain.
What has blockland come to.
9.5/10

Can't wait to see this done! Keep up the good work!

Just because people have the option to use terrain bricks for race tracks doesn't mean they have to use them.

Ahem, What I meant to say was that all the (Unnamed crappy builders) will result to using terrain instead of giving some detail in their maps.
So what looks good to a general blockland community will turn out bad, we perceive with your eyes not our minds.
I'm sorry if you didn't quite understand, what I'm trying to say is...Would you rather see more detail or just some random shaped bricks slapped down or colored.

have you ever heard of the conservation of detail?

there are things that people simply don't need to pay attention to, or need to detail in the first place. concrete, dirt, etcetera come to mind not everything has to be lovingly hand-crafted: it's perfectly OK to make something out of terrain bricks if it still has charm and looks good enough

plus terrain bricks are perfect for vehicles- they keep the brick count down and collide (reasonably) well. the only difference is that terrain bricks are like, 16 times less expensive then ramp bricks are, and they're easy-to-use to boot

I'm fine with terrain bricks for some of the raceway, but try to add some detail and scenery around it :(

I said i was fine with terrain, anyway just drop it.

Many people aren't though, it's not just your opinion that matters. And he was giving legitimate advice :(

I'm adding the last minute detail once the actual track is finished.

See? I didn't care about there being no detail on the map, i just wanted to express how overused terrain bricks can be for pointless things, I'm not implying that terrain is being overused for race tracks, just pointless stuff.

Edit: To skill4life.
I know, i use terrain in any vehicle environment. And i know when to conserve and when not to. Although, sometimes its best if you do.
But, for previous topics I've just made my opinions clear that some things get overused and boring fast. Remember that awe inspiring ZAPT map?
Look how many good ones there are now...

Could use a little color variation in the track itself, but if there aren't two sandy browns that're close to the same shade then its not a big deal

I think Alkatjo is trying to say is that people are going to be making tracks with terrain bricks and the person that made it will think it's good because of terrain bricks even though it might not be; no clear path, all one color, etc.

no clear path? Also for the color I'm going to be experimenting with it once the actual track is finished.

Weren't we making a casino raceway?
