Not a very useful colorset, but some of you might find this interesting.  16 colors based on the 16-color DOS palette, plus 32 more transparent colors based on the same.

Example in use on a default build on Adjustable Slate with very specific settings:

I'm reminded of the old 80's games that were basically composed of black, white, magenta, and cyan.

Suddenly, Lego Island.

Those are just the default 16 Microsoft Paint colors, though the "dark" colors in your picture are a bit different for whatever reason.  The colors used by DOS are much closer to the colors in this colorset.  Example:

one of the main ways to see it is from the editor that comes with it
most programs use different 16 colour palettes anyways so w/e
