No mods, no cheats. They just abused every possible glitch they could find, and did it all in segments. So essentially they had as many tries as they wanted to do all those things. The entire run was made in around 6 months.

yeah, they actually devised a script that found the shoot spots initially, then just practiced them until they could do them blindfolded ( yes one dude actually did a speed run blindfolded. wasn't nearly that fast but he did it ).

Not so much of a speed-run if it takes you 6 months to finish.
