What he wants are self propelled guns, that can angle and blow stuff to bits from miles away.

I agree with this. It would be a fresh approach to a vehicle system to have a overhead targeting system which would function similar to the WoT artillery system.

It would be difficult and require quite a bit of math knowledge, but i can think of a few people that could potentially be up for this task.

Would it be too much to ask for a PzIC variant that is an actual vehicle instead of a bot? If hiding the driver is an issue, I'm pretty sure there's a way to force the pilot to do the lying down animation. The MAS swarm fighter does that, anyway.
