Author Topic: Auto-Clicker Add-On (Now with Support_Updater!)  (Read 11030 times)

Update released! Support_Updater added!

that name seems like it would cause errors if anything else uses the same name
i would make it like "autoclickupdater" or something. not just "updater".

also i doubt anyone would download a second addon just to update something as small as an auto clicker

Why does an autoclicker need an updater with it? Lol

uh
Do you not know about Support_Updater?
It's an add-on Greek2Me made that allows any add-on to be updated from a GitHub repository, IIRC.

If you have Slayer, you should know about this.

If you really want to add in updating support then use the EXISTING updater addon located in modification discussion. Your addon will conflict with that widely-used existing updater that will work for literally any addon, and replace it with one that only updates your autoclicker.

There is no way I can explain this to you.
You're an idiot.

That is not how you add support for updating.

Most people have slayer.
I assume all people who use my addon have slayer.
I don't expect to ever have to use the cs file
and no it's not from just a github repo.
But, someone might come around who is a noob
who wants an autoclicker and doesnt have slayer.
unlikely, but possible.

EDIT: If you want to, you can check out the repository.txt
in it should be links to the changelog

Nope, he did it right. The file he included is a script I released which asks users to install Support_Updater if they do not have it.

Looks good. FYI 000webhost is blocked for AT&T internet users, so lots of people won't get your updates.
