who cares man? It's just a different style of art, if you try to restrict people to a "pattern" soon it becomes boring, let the guy spread his wings, this is a fine piece of art

Think of blockland as a cartoon. The characters that appear often have simpler designs, making it easier to animate. Everything else would look gorgeous.

Smoothshading looks janky as hell along the sides, you need to fix some of the edge splitting it seems.
