To be honest, most diseases like this actually spread more through poor sanitation and water supply.
It can be passed through mouth, but it's more likely to be passed through vomit and diarrhea, like Cholera.
Basically, in these African villages where they have outbreaks, people with the disease get to the stage where they have diarrhea and vomiting, and such excrement gets into their water supply.
They don't have good, if any filtration or sanitation of the water, so other people drink it and get the disease.
Unless you're all stuffting in your own well, then ebola isn't too likely to spread in the developed world.
