if someone starts coughing immediately shoot them and burn down their home
its the only way to prevent this
Wouldn't the smoke kill people?

honestly most american countries have highly rates of survival
theres only one american country tho

To be honest, most diseases like this actually spread more through poor sanitation and water supply.
It can be passed through mouth, but it's more likely to be passed through vomit and diarrhea, like Cholera.

Basically, in these African villages where they have outbreaks, people with the disease get to the stage where they have diarrhea and vomiting, and such excrement gets into their water supply.
They don't have good, if any filtration or sanitation of the water, so other people drink it and get the disease.

Unless you're all stuffting in your own well, then ebola isn't too likely to spread in the developed world.

This disease is so lethal that it can kill you before it even has a chance to find a new host. Don't worry about this spreading anywhere because if someone has it, they'd most likely die before infecting anyone.
except the person's excrement and corpse will likely carry the virus as well, so anyone handling that runs the risk of being infected

are you serious?

Also, don't touch poo and vomit and then prepare or eat food without washing your hands thoroughly.

We're all screwed

Ebola isn't very contagious. There's a reason it hasn't become a global pandemic, and that's because it is inefficient at spreading. As scary as the disease itself is, it's in no position to wipe out humanity.
