It works 100% aside from names. The "Game Mode" (or map name in older versions) field will tell you what version the host is running along with the gamemode or map name.

I don't see the problem here. If they want to run old, outdated versions then that's their choice. They've apparently set up an entire separate master server just so they don't bother what badspot doesn't like: crappy unjoinable servers on our master server.

I think this is one of the reasons why updates are so rare.
People stick with the old instead of going with the flow.

there's no rule saying you can't use different fonts. if it irritates you that much you have issues.
