It can be turned into a loop if you somehow merge the ends in Audacity or something to make a gradual switch to the beginning from the end... if that makes any sense...

I've tried really hard to figure stuff like that out, is it actually possible?

Yes, and it's easier than you think. You just need to understand waveforms visually. Maybe check this out?
