can you make a forum ban simulator? i'd love to play it.
Yes and, if possible, include every existing user with their current avatars.

Loving this so far, Badspot. I think I found a glitch, but it is nearly impossible to replicate so I can't really confirm. I landed on a vertically moving platform and at that exact moment I landed on a Bullet Bill, too. I bounced off the Bullet Bill and fell straight through the moving platform.

Like I said, incredibly unlikely circumstances make this very difficult to replicate. That also means it's probably not too high on your priorities list, but just thought I'd share. Keep up the good work!

A trip to the Mario wiki has informed me that those enemies are actually Bullet Biffs and I should probably just go commit seppuku because I dishonored my family for lack of Mario knowledge.

i can agree too that this is probably the one mario game i know the least about

Madman: The Game
tbh kinda tempted to madman-ify the game.
(all the sprites and tiles are there so I could actually do this)

Found another (much easier to replicate) issue.

In W2-2

P.S. Don't make fun of me for dying a lot and only getting as far as 2-2.

That is an official secret.

Badspot, does your custom engine support the default SDL networking library? Or does it have something else implemented?

That is an official secret.

I'm really bad at knowing things about this game I guess.  :cookieMonster:

were you working on this since 2013?

Yes.  The ol' 90-90 rule.  But I was not working on it continuously.  It only took 124 check-ins and each one of those is a max of ~10 hours of work - probably averaging more like 3-4 hours.  So 3 or 4 months of hard work probably.
