WHAT THE HELL IS THIS? I SWEAR I'VE SEEN THIS BEFORE

Welcome to CypherX's Nation RP: Earth 1990! In this game, you will be joining the world stage in the ninth decade of the illustrious twentieth century. The Eastern powers are beginning to crack, their power severely weakened. Peace has largely prevailed in the West for almost 15 years. For the first time in almost a hundred years, the world seems mostly quiet. However, in the Middle East, a new conflict is brewing, one that will have far reaching consequences...

HOW DO I JOIN?
Easy! Just pick a non-claimed nation and start posting! It's extremely advisable, however, that you read the rules and at least skim all pages in the thread to get a feel for this game. You needn't wait for me to update. Honestly, it's really simple!

BUT WHAT EXACTLY DO I DO?
Upon joining, you are your nation's omniscient leader. You control all aspects of the government, from politics, trade to economy; and everything in between. You are free to trade, war, ally, whatever, with your surrounding nations and the other nations of the world. You may change your national form of government at any time; be warned, however. Citizens may not react favourably to such changes. Remember, play wisely.

UNITED NATIONS PROPOSALS

Any nation on the world stage may bring forth a proposal to the UN floor. These include but are not limited to ceasefires, WMD bans, embargoes, independence votes, proposals to send peacekeepers places, and anything else you can think of (within reason) as well as repealing any previous vote. The Big Five will have the power to veto any vote, once a year. OP, the UN world ambassador, will put these proposals to vote. He will also enact proposals or repeal them. Any enacted or repealed proposals will be enforced by the UN ambassador and other UN members; failure to follow them will incite conflict, so beware!

USA: Intervene on the side of Kuwait in the Kuwaiti-Iraqi Conflict. [SUCCESS]
USA: Build an International Space Station. [SUCCESS]

3. Be conservative with new tech; EG, no spaceships claiming Mars in 2004.
4. Don't go to war with someone who has just joined if they do not consent.
5. Do not RP for other nations, you imbeciles.
6. If you attack someone, wait for them to respond before continuing your attack.
7. You may not sell more than 25% of your land. You may let satellite states of yours become independent.
9. No nuclear war.
10. No meganations or mega-alliances.
11. You may not leave your country worse than you found it. (As in, don't start a catastrophe in your country then switch to a different nation.)
12. Covert actions may be done via PM to me or thru Steam messaging. It'd be preferable if you PM'd me.
13. I bet you didn't notice I skipped Rule 8. It's ok, you can go check.

hey I took stuff from yours but I didn't straight up copy-paste the OP
or advertise in your thread

unification happens later this year
it's unified on the world map but not the alliance map

he advertised in your thread?

it's unified on the world map but not the alliance map

the organization running the alliance map needs more money to publish their new maps
