i'm confused on how to use this, how do i get the IP Address? and do i have to have a dedicated server? if i do have to use a dedicated server, how do i get one? i want to make a dedicated server for my new film making clan, Golden Block Productions.
No, your server does not have to be dedicated to use this. If you want to look up your IP address, you can get it
here. However, you don't have to use your IP address to make a status image. On the generator page, fill out the form that has a Username section instead of the IP address one. That will make an image that simply shows whatever server is running under that username. The only downside to this is that it can get confused if you host more than one server at once.
