Author Topic: Blockland External Server Control V1.1  (Read 15740 times)

you can chat outside of it anyways but it's VEry hard and as your typeing any text that ppl send the console takes as what your saying they don't see it but you don't see what they sayed
I did not understand a word of that.

He's saying you can use talk("message"); in the dedicated server, but it takes more work and easy (for the unexperienced) to make mistakes.
It's also harder to see what people said in the console.
I'm thinking of making 1.1 include join and leave messages.

Ok, thanks for the translation.

Ooh, this looks really useful.  Thanks Chrono.

Make it so I can change it from a remote location
That is if it cant already do that

You could.
Open up the script file and change the address.

I will add that as a feature for a later version though.

Nvm, I forgot to enable it in the add-ons folder. :/
I don't know whats wrong:

Looks pretty cool, I am going to try it out.

Nvm, I forgot to enable it in the add-ons folder. :/
I don't know whats wrong:

For future references, for any missing .ocx or .dll files, just type it's name into google.

Tada.

So, this is like an improved command prompt for Dedicated?

I love you. I need this. Add more, please. Any way to make it automatically open when you start a dedi?

I'm sure there is a way.
After all the dedicated is a batch file.

Features?
BAN
KICK
UNBAN
ADMIN
SUPERADMIN
UNADMIN
EXEC FILE
CHANGE SERVER LIMTIS
AUTO-ADMIN stuff

Things we might need :D

To come:
V2 - Player list, with options of banning, kicking, admining, and unadmining.
V2 or later versions - Changing maps.
Later versions - Saving and loading builds.

And then other things you listed I guess. :3

Should have read the topic again :D

Anyways, I;d love an execution menue, that allows you to pick a file. That would make life easy.

Problem is that adding new datablocks midgame can crash all the players in the server.
