Author Topic: SetAimObject distance?  (Read 245 times)

Hey, anyone else notice that when you use setAimObject, the thing that's aiming stops aiming when you get like 10 studs away? I think it was working earlier today from farther distances, it's weird...

It seems to somehow involve forcing the bot to update its relative Z position. Try making them jump when they spawn, and if that doesn't work, when they lock on to a new target.

Thanks, that helps. Just trying to get the z to update somehow since the bot is mounted. It was working earlier, if I remember correctly. Setting the rotation of the bot to its current rotation doesn't work for some reason. It just makes it move to a different rotation and then rotate back.

EDIT: It's rotating by the way, but it's just not updating visually for some reason.
