Do want. If someone makes this, then they should also make another Playertype that is god-like where they get no fall damage, high health, high jump, and this.

would it just be modifying the attributes so the player handles like the rowboat while in water?


I don't think this is possible.

First of all, objects use collisions, without that, it doesn't seem to be possible.

Just make a zone that uses vce to see if they are "jesus", if they are, the water should collide, otherwise, the player will fall into the water.

that vce idea wouldn't work out too well if there were multiple players attempting to walk across the open body of water, there has to be some way to mimic a smooth transition from ground to water

How about we try it the other way around, make a playertype that doesn't collide with water. Just make the water colliding, and then make eveyone that shouldn't walk on it that playertype. Sounds easier to make a player that ignores the seconds layer (zonebricks) than to make one that always collides with it.
