I'm not sure how to make emitters but I made an example of something it could be like/or used if you make emitters with pictures.

The moths wouldn't be affected by light though, so at one point they would become invisible if the backdrop is dark, but I guess it depends on the particle shape.

I say go for it. It'd be useful for Silent Hill builds. Maybe some other insect builds, like one with flies.
