that's because nobody cares about argentina
Piss off. Many presidents and governors are happy that the stuffty president we have now is being replaced with a non-peronist and non-radical.

I find this hard to believe

do you have a source for this information or...??
Yes, when I went to York, not a single officer had a gun.

We already have Islamist terrorist attacks.

There was the 7/7 bombings, in 2005, which were the first and most horrific Islamist terrorist attacks on the country.
In 2007 there was an attack on the Glasgow International Airport, where a car filled with bombs was driven at the entrance and exploded. Bollards stopped the car, and no one died, but a few were injured.
There was an attempted Self Delete attack in Exeter in 2008, but no one died, and only the attacker was injured.
Then there was the murder of Lee Rigby in 2013, a soldier who was killed in the street. They ran him down in a car and attacked him with knives.

As sas as it is to say, the UK is used to terrorist attacks.
We dealt with them for around 30 years, from the IRA.

They don't need guns for their everday policing.

There are specialist gun units capable of arriving quickly to any scene, who are firearms trained.

I hope you guys aren't going to get all riled up and angry, that's the entire aim of these attacks.
Hate and fear are the breeding ground for irrational thought and senseless action, don't give in to it.
terrorists are just bum-bums

^ how misreported news gets in order to get a better reaction, according to the article in OP the blade was ~3inches and a stabbing incident, or it was a machete and he slit a guys throat with it, depending on where you get your news from.

It is sad that we never hear about the terrorist attacks in Africa on the news. There was that hotel hostage situation too, but they don't get nearly enough coverage and support.

In some places in Africa, people live in extreme poverty and have little water; now they have to deal with this. :\

generally speaking they have backup gear in their vehicle, and can call in even more from their police department

I have officers with bullet-proof vests, 9mm, magnums, batons, and shotguns patrolling my streets.

You also live in a stuffhole though.

those probably aren't even officers, either

True, its good he didn't have a gun on hand. British police are preeetty easy to take out because they themselves can't carry handguns in a lot of areas of the UK.

Also OP these attacks have definitely BEEN a thing for years. They're just getting even more extensive media coverage because the outlets are all trying to get the next big scoop and/or spread an agenda.

gonna hope CIA gets rekt by all the armed forces or something

i'm tired of them tbh

your murder rate is still higher than the united states, by a significant amount too. 3.8 vs 5.5
