hello i just wanted to share the closer of a long dayz playthrough with my partner in crime, Chef
after a long game of spying on people
a long game of goofs and gafs
we arrived on shore to find netting (dont do this you wont find any)
we ran into many scared bambis and a bunch of firefights we sneaked through.
after a long search we decided to take a small steak break, which i like to call, a break
well we got food poisoning as my partner in crime, Chef, did not cook so well
here we are trying to make ourselves throw up
despite our pukefest, we did not get cured, our only hope was going to a town.
we were getting worse fast.
i have no more screenshots of this next bit as we were rushing to find charcoal tablets.
We arrived at a town called Kamyshovo, as we entered, we ran into a Russian bambi at the blue dot on the map, his only weapon was a fireaxe (dangerous).
Chef was confronting him, asking if he had charcoal tablets. The bambi, obviously frightened, went with his natural bambi instincts, and started surrendering and undressing.
Meanwhile I was covering Chef from inside the building, watching for threats.
The bambi had to break habit when he figured out we weren't bandits, despite looking like them. Chef told him to put his clothes back on and not be so silly. From there they parted ways.
I came out of the house and approached Chef. To our surprise however, bambi came running back, yelling at Chef that he was in danger. What he meant, was me.
Out of surprise that this Russian Bambi was willing to run to another friendly to warn him or to even be a form of distraction for a possible threat was heart warming.
I was wielding a modded AK47, but had been carrying an MP5K with me the entire 16 hour session. I figured it was time to part ways with the gun, and donated it to the kind Bambi, along with ammunition.
The bambi was thankful, and we told him to go on his merry way.
Chef and I moved on as well, to the red dot on the map, which was a police station. There was a chance of charcoal pills here.
Before we headed in we decided to make it a fast sweep, as we do, each checking one floor. Chef took the upper floor.
We headed inside, I went into the first room on the left, which was a connector to a second room. Chef headed upstairs.
As he ran up we discussed the loot found, until we were interrupted by a barrage of bullets. Chef got pelted and died instantly.
A man wielding a modded MP5K was upstairs.
I lied down in the door opening of the second room, aiming my AK47 at the open door of the first room. The bandit had to go through it to escape the police station.
I waited patiently, wanting to avenge my partner in crime.
Suddenly I heard a familiar voice from outside. It was the bambi. He heard the gunshots and wanted to check if we were OK. He opened the front door of the police station, and didn't spot me due to my positioning.
I couldn't talk, I would've given away my position and would get us both killed.
The bambi ran upstairs.
Another barrage of MP5K rounds echoed through the police station. The Bambi yelled that he was friendly, yelling that it was him from before.
Somehow he survived getting pelted. He ran into the room I was in, bleeding. He closed the door, and patched himself up. He had seen my partner's body and me laying down. No words were spoken.
Footsteps broke the silence, and the door he closed creaked open. I fired my entire magazine, but somehow, he managed to body the Bambi before I put him down.
More footsteps sounded, I tried reloading my AK74, but to no avail, the bandit wasn't alone. Another man ran into our room, spraying his Skorpion until it could go no more, swiftly putting an end to me as well.
Due to the amount of shots, all the gear in the end was ruined, all weapons and military grade armor was gone. All that was left was death, and a sole survivor, now alone.
This Russian Bambi, the star in our playthrough, will not be forgotten.
RIP friendly russian - following your kind heart until the end, where it was ripped away by the undeserving. you will be rememberedin dedication to his kind heart, our next session will be a hero session
