Author Topic: I have to give a huge speech.  (Read 1478 times)

Imagine the crowd as a single entity. Give eye contact to the crowd, not individuals, speak to the crowd, not a select few.

I'm not saying it's not important.
The reason I try to avoid it is because i have a very short attention spanThank you, adhd that never wore off!, and i'd constantly look away from them at other things, which would make me come off as being rude. (found that out in the past.)

I can only legitimately maintain eye contact with somebody I care about. (family, someone i'm in a relationship with, a significant other, etc.)
If that's the case, You could try to use interest in the subject as a way to keep focused on it better, If you can stay calm and focused you might be able to give the speech successfully.

When in doubt, be like Riddler.
