ashi teaming up with jack is probable, but i don't think that them being love interests is likely, genndy never really took that route with samurai jack in the past. although it would be interesting if he does form a bond with ashi, and now he's conflicted about going back to the past because if he does he'll essentially erase her from existence.

I was taking the piss just a bit there, but I definitely think there's some foreshadowing that Jack isn't gonna kill Aku alone.
