Wednesday's and Thursdays Lola Lo is easily the best and most popular with people who live here, we normally get a table on Wednesdays cos its only like £50 with a bottle of Jäger. Friday night Fez does Propaganda which is always really popular but I don't go cos I don't like indie music. Revs is ok most nights, avoid belare and kuda they're both full of pikeys/smell like dead people. Predrinks in regal or the fountain on regent street, everywhere else full of old cunts. Night life in Cambridge loving sucks!

I really like using ssh and htop together because it allows me to monitor my computer, server, and phone all at the same time on the same screen.

Something nobody in the world needs to do :)

Hashed with salt. On top of that I wrote my own algorithm to make it extra secure. Hackers will never get it.

pls elaborate

I don't know if I could take this "informed opinion" seriously if they spelled learned, "learnt".

Places exist outside America, did you know that? Learnt is correct.

The real cause was a malicious DDoS attack. Fortunately, Verizon actually mitigated the attack at their own expense. They did not reveal the size or number of IP addresses, but it was UDP-based. Verizon went above and beyond their responsibility by providing free DDoS protection for 10 days, until the hacker gave up.

They weren't mitigating it if your service was still unavailable, they may as well have just done nothing.

General Discussion / Re: HammerHost dedicated hosting service ::
« on: May 23, 2014, 09:48:22 AM »
Yes. When HammerHost goes premium, I am probably going to use a remote server. My plan is to get a cheap Linux VPS and run a Windows virtual machine on it. Blockland takes too much CPU on Wine.
This will never result in a premium service, a virtual machine ontop of a virtual machine won't be performant or stable. It's probably not even possible on most hosts, virtualization requires specific kernel modules that I doubt most providers compile into their kernels.
