i work for a game development studio, i can make a damn good guess how much resources and time this took, and i can already tell you it's not worth it.
this paragraph alone paints a perfect mental image i have to deal with in my studio too. A developer makes something useful (displaying time on the in-game watch) and some waterheaded exec goes overboard with it. i seriously do not believe the art workforce pushed for this to be in the game, especially since the actual workforce doesn't get to decide stuff like this regardless
i honestly thought it was a keychain like in R6S and thought that was kind of cool, but a smart-watch app? loving ridiculous
