Welcome to Town of Salem! Only the most brutal forum game out there! Pitted against 15 other people, you must try and make your side (Innocent, Mafia, Neutral) be victorious. This challenges players on their ability to convincingly lie as well as detect when other players are lying. If you are a Town member (the good guys) you must track down the Mafia and other villains before they kill you. The catch? You don't know who is a Town member and who is a villain. If you are an evil role, such as a Serial Killer, you secretly murder town members in the veil of night and try to avoid getting caught.

Game Phases:

Night:

The night phase is when most roles use their abilities. Serial Killers stealthily murder people, Doctors heal people who are attacked, Sheriffs interrogate people for suspicious activity and many more unique role abilities.

Day:

The day phase allows the Town members to discuss who they suspect of being an evil role. Once the voting phase starts a majority vote from the town will put someone on trial.

Defense:

The defense phase is when you plead your innocence to the town. Have a convincing story or find yourself facing the gallows!

Judgement:

During this phase the town will vote on the fate of the defendant. Players can vote guilty, innocent or abstain. If there are more guilty votes than innocent votes the defendant is sentenced to death by hanging!

Day and Night each take 24 hours. So, a whole day takes 48 hours. (Subject to change based on everyone's timezones.)

Random Names: To prevent metagaming, names will be randomly assigned and will be given out via a PM.

Roles and Names will be given out via a PM with the descriptions. These descriptions go into more depth about things you can do.

• To use an ability, PM me with the person you want it to go to.
• To edit your last will, PM me.
• To vote to execute a town member, PM me with your town member vote.
• To give your defense, send me a PM.
• To vote guilty or not guilty, PM me.
