Author Topic: NEWS - Republicans are attempting to pass a bill an extreme anti-protest bill  (Read 13010 times)

if you're dealing with selfish dumb attention whoring idiots who don't know stuff like this then I think lethal force could be necessary if it gets out of hand enough.

"We are the workers!" says the unemployed protester, blocking a city road.
im confused. is the dude who punched someone and reacted violently, starting the whole conflict, an antifa? if so someone should intervene since it's clearly violent action

i thought the antifa guys were the ones holding hands and chanting, aka not being violent

And if protestors are threatening police lives, they can still use lethal force. The problem with this bill is that it effectively allows lethal force against anyone blocking highways - period.
If you're blocking a highway then get upset over someone being injure/killed then you deserve that stuff, blocking a highway puts everyone in danger, especially the drivers.

you know what puts people in even more danger? using lethal force instead of rubber bullets or riot gear

just build more roads over the protesters

just build more roads over the protesters
We should take the protesters, and push them somewhere else.

Antifa is the people in black blocking the road, basically anarchists.

The man who rammed them (rightfully so), was a commuter trying to either go home or to work, and was not allowed passage by these people. When they agreed to let multiple women through, he was fed up and rammed them, which makes perfect sense, they'e harassing this man who hasn't done anything to them, and when he harasses them in return they got all upset and called for him to be arrested.

funny enough prior to the video and in recent events this exact same grouo of Antifa was seen chanting "forget the Police!", and when something goes wrong for them they started to beg the police for help.

Absolutely, but if you go out onto a highway you have to expect to be heavily injured/killed, it's not like you're going into some plaza, you're walking out into a place where objects are coming towards you at 60+ miles an hour. Anyone who is upset over protesters being injured on highways are dumb cunt idiots, there's better ways to protest and everyone knows that going on a highway does nothing but put everyone in danger.

Woah hey, this thread blew up while I was gone.

there's a difference between people being accidentally/intentionally hit because someone decided to run them over and the police having a completely legitimate legal pass to commit murder with the only prerequisite being that they are blocking the road

one is vehicular manslaughter, the other is cruel and unusual punishment of a disproportinate scale without trial

i was just kidding when i said run them over why would that actually be ok

This whole thing seems unconstitutional. It takes away the rights of Freedom of Speech.

freedom of speech isnt really the number one priority when these people are assaulting a bunch of others and blocking roads and causing countless other needless types of violence and inconvenience that nobody has the time to deal with

causing countless other needless types of violence and inconvenience that nobody has the time to deal with
the bill does that but swaps the aggressors

the whole basis of this bill is to cause even more needless types of violence by making it legal for police to deprive whole families of loved ones provided that said loved ones are in a group of 10 or more and standing somewhere for more than 15 minutes

you know, ending human lives just because they have a different opinion and want to express it by making someone 30 minutes late for work. definitely a cardinal sin worthy of death by the hand of the state

making someone 30 minutes late for work? are you kidding? theyve done much worse than this. theyve blocked ambulances, firetrucks, police, etc responding to an emergency. its not like they care. if you stoop that low then honestly you arent worthy of life
also, its a bit hypocritical to defend them for having different opinions, when this is the same reason theyve assaulted people many times, even children.

the bill does that but swaps the aggressors
you cant exactly peacefully make them stop.
