Modification Help / Weapons that need script...

Heya guys im in a little need for gunscripts so i could publish them :) (I will credit you)
Anyway...

Also has shooting/recoil animation (Animation names are reload and recoil :P) Also I think its huge ingame :P And it has a 5 round magazine instead of a 20-one

Also i dont understand much about the torque script so please i could really use some help...

The WWII MP40 with ugly, inaccurate model, high spread, crappy range, no animation, no iron sights and stuff like that...
Does what the real thing does/did :D
Also the magazine is about right since MP40 sucked in the war for soldiers not being able to go prone and shoot...
Feel free to flame ^^

Future versions might include:
-Reload animation
-Iron sight
-Better model
-mmm... Rocket MP40? idk just a suggestion...
Feedback should be <insert adjective here>...

Modification Help / How to get view through scope?

So i made a model of G36E (wow a 3d model) but i would like to know how can you make it view through the scope? I think this should go into coding help :)

Also i need a scripter for my gun, please PM me...

Modification Help / Half baked MP40 (now with dl link :P)

OK i present you my MP40 with the following things:
  • Low-poly model, flatshaded i guess
  • A somewhat realistic shooting sound :D
  • Bullets have really high spread and fall to the ground bout 50-100 meters away from you if you aim parallel to the ground
  • Icon, but no kill icon sry :( (i can make that if needed)
  • 0.25 velInherit factor, due to the short barrel of the weapon (i think i made it too long actually :P)
  • Useless at long, but deadly at short range
  • CoolHwip :P
Picture about its appearance in-game:

Things that i will do:
  • Better model
  • Icons, better sounds and all that stuff
  • Animations, if needed
Things that i need others to do:
  • Better script, but with the same spread, velocity, ROF and damage
  • Give me knowledge about maximum recommended number of faces on a weapon in Blockland
  • Opinion :D
(And no my name is not vampire something, that just local name with stupid things on me :P)

Modification Help / mp40 model?!?

Ive been busy with making this:


I'm working with blender so i need 2 things:
1. Opinion ^^
2. How to fix the handle (the place where you grip it :P)
(3. code? ^^)

I'm quite new to modelling in 3d but i though i give it a try at making this. I made it blocko since if i would have the skills and make it realistic looking,it would go over 1000 faces i think, currently standing at 232 with this.
(Also i used sum random metal texture :D)
(Also 1 face in blender= 2 polygons?)

Ok so i started learning how to model in 3D bout 4 days ago and i think I'm doing quite well, though i have a question about flatshading:
Is it possible in Blender, and if it is, how can i achieve that in Blender and what is the point of it? :P
Will be looking forward for some answers here :D

EDIT: Also another question: what is the suggested number of faces on a (weapon) model?

Savage 2 is an (MMO/)RTS/FPS/RPG game with almost awesome graphics.
The game consits of 2 teams: Humans and Beasts who want to kill each other in every way possible. In those teams, 1 player is a commander who can build towers/buildings to get new items/units for their team and also commanders give other player commands and well others are action players who fight on the battlefield. Key to victory is teamwork and working with your team :D.
The game itself features:
  • Replays of all matches EVER played
  • Full stat tracking on official servers with achivements
  • Clans, Clan tournaments(with money prizes etc.)
So if youre intrested go HERE and try it.
Besides, having a little try doesnt hurt, does it?

Help / Linux problem

Ok since i couldnt play Blockland in Vista i now play it on Linux(Ubuntu).
Though Linux produces a weird error: The add-on list is out of order( yes i know it sounds stupid )
and its making me really angry for some reason cause im having hard time finding the add-on i downloaded.
Any help will be appreciated...

I saw some vids with the tank turret on a block. So is it possible?

Help / Vista Lag

OK so i have a problem with blockland...
Recently i got a new computer which has Windows Vista (i previously had XP) and when i get to 12000 blocks it starts to lag though before i had no problem displaying over 60000 bricks without any lag(NVidia Geforce GO 7600).
Any suggestions???

My comp specs=
Intel Core 2 Duo
4 GB of RAM
NVIDIA Geforce Go 8600M GT
(if theres need for more details tell me)
