Check in the bios for if its using the onboard graphics, also try plugging the monitor into onboard graphics.
I'm using that right now, and it is in-fact using the onboard graphics, and the automatic nvidia driver locator "thingy" on their website fails to detect the other card

If your GPU needs extra power, are those plugged in? Also make sure your GPU is connected properly and securely. Try other DVI/VGA/HTMI plugs if nothing else works.
The power cord is connected from the PSU, and I'm pretty sure it's in securely

Alright, I got my new mobo and installed it, everything is working fine right now

Well, almost everything. For some reason the graphics card won't work, the fan spins and such but it's not putting any image on the screen. Do I need to install drivers for it? Or could the problem be that the on-boards graphics for the mobo is nvidia? (The card is also nvidia)

Any help would be appreciated

Alright, I've narrowed the problem down to either A) my mobo or B) my CPU

I should be able to determine which one it is if I can get my hands on a motherboard speaker thing right?
Alright, my mobo is an ASRock 760GM-GS3, and it didn't come with any speakers for the board and the users manual says nothing at all about a POST Test, should I even bother spending the money on a speaker seeing as I won't be able to know what the beeps will mean (provided I get any beeps)?

I haven't been hearing any beeps, but that might be because I don't have a motherboard speaker, all I have are speakers I plug into the jack in the motherboard. Should I be able to hear the beeps out of those?

I had something similar happen to me once, except my computer wouldn't even finish POST (that's where you hear the beep). It would just start up and do nothing.

I pulled all the components one by one and tested them to try and figure out what the issue was. It turns out it was the case. Threw it out and got a new one and the computer has been running fine ever since.
Could be a corrupt bios? Any beeps?
