I modeled, UVed and textured them, they then got passed down the line for rigging, animation, shading, lighting and rendering. Can only really estimate on the time taken, but I think the Spitfire took me about two weeks.

are you for real
this is cool as stuff
what was it like working for them

I work for a studio that was contracted to make the trailer, so I didn't deal with Firaxis directly, we have producers for that. They did ask us to make the daughter's eyes bigger about 3 times though.

Some stills from the Civ 6 launch trailer showing off some of the more major assets I made for it:
I made the spitfire in its entirety, interior and exterior, didn't make the pilot.

I also made the rocket, I did not do the effects.

I had a hand in every shot in the trailer, however these are the hero assets I worked on.

Had a little play before bed a few nights ago, still very rough. Will probably be taken right through to completion.

They didn't say it was for Blockland, and that is Blender not Maya.

Video of the making of my revolver. 10x speed, still a long video though, you have been warned.

The easiest way would just be to use .dsq files for your different animations. As for emmisive textures, I have no idea sorry, I'm not really sure how TGE handles them.

Fixed the link, been a while since I used dropbox. Its only a little .38 special revolver, but I can see how it might be a touch thin.

I use Maya for my modeling and Substance for baking/texturing, you will see my workflow when I get the video out. In the meantime look into PBR texturing workflows.

A low poly revolver I made in 7 and a half hours over the course of the last week. Recorded the whole thing from start to finish and will put a sped up version on Youtube soon.

And before you say anything yes 3.3k triangles is low poly.

Just had a quick google, haven't used Cinema 4D before, but kind of sounds like deformer history, try this:
Quote
do a "Current state to object" command from the Object Manager right click menu
Also sounds like you have a runtime error, but if it worked before, technically it should work again.

Going to need more to go on, what program are you using, what specifically are the errors, etc...

It will work with anything that can export to .dae while supporting animation, which is pretty much everything.

Technically a cross-post, but some of you guys might be interested.
I made a video showing how you can use the dae2dts tool to export to Blockland from most 3D modeling packages.
