Author Topic: DTS to DIF  (Read 909 times)

hey, guys, i'm working on a big map for practice, and i need to know something about interiors and constructor.

if i were to take a DTS, import it into constructor, and then export the entire thing as a DIF, would the DTS still be a DTS within the DIF or something, or will i actually have turned a DTS into a DIF?

I don't think you can. I tried this quite a while back and it simply wouldn't spawn my converted dts ingame as a dif.

A DTS and a DIF are two entirely different types of file. You will have to make it entirely in constructor.

You can't do what you are asking. If you export a dif with a shape in it the shape is just deleted. It doesn't convert the shape into a dif.

importing a .dts as a static mesh should have it stay in the map, I have no clue why they would have a whole feature just to delete it in the end.

You have to have a block with the dts or it will just poop out blanks.
