Found some optimization options in the preferences.txt file for multiwinia.

Fingers crossed.
Worked great!
I now get 16 fps when I'm staring at the ground, away from units
and at least 7 when I'm actually in battle.
This is a huge improvement over my usual 1-2 fps anywhere.
Its playable!!
