the thing is that the game designer installed a fail safe so if the headset is attempted to be taken off, it will use radio waves to cook your brain. They never said anything about the power going dead

man I was watching a video of that game the other day and thinking the same thing
it doesn't make any sense bc gravity would just hold them down
if you really want them to use power the least you could do is make them close upwards
