Did you expect young people, who aren't used to the forums, to stand in line like the rest of us?
From my experiences, young people are just like this outside of the Blockland forums, but it's more noticeable since you don't normally see this number of screaming kids here.
As Blockland gets more popular, a relatively larger audience of young people will probably be attracted to the forums, resulting in an even more noticeable younger population on the forums (assuming they don't quit the forums or get banned).
I would assume the new young people on the forums who are making these posts want the attention they got with whoever they were with outside of the forums, like their parents or their friends, or they noticed a new place for them to be in, and are trying to show the rest of the community that they think they can be a part the community, to show the rest of the community that they can be like everyone else.

Today I joined Toughplayer1's Pixel Player Deathmatch.
I told Tough that Nintendo is the reason (and there might be some others?) behind gaming mainly being marketed to males, because in order to revive gaming, they had to market to a gender. Anyway, he refuses to understand my perspective. I tried to give him a link to the Adam Ruins Everything video on the topic, but he just refuses to watch it. His friend also supported banning me apparently. The end of the chat log is when I was banned by Skydrifter26.
I really think that this was a very unreasonable ban, considering he didn't even try to explain to me how his view was more supported. It was more like a scenario where like he thinks everyone else agrees with him, so I'm just the odd person out, and I should be eliminated. It isn't like he provided more evidence than I did, and Adam is probably a more trusted source than just his beliefs on the topic.

What if Badspot doesn't update anything because he doesn't need to update anything? Take this current topic, the hat update, does he actually need to do this update? Obvious answer is no, but maybe he isn't doing it because the community has pretty much already done hats, and the community can already do what it is asking for.
For the trading, perhaps some system like Blockland Glass will provide hat trading in the future, used in some future version of the hatmod or hats integrated into a system like Blockland Glass.
I think as long as the community has the potential to do a request to Badspot by the community, Badspot probably won't fulfill that request, so we might have to wait for something by the community to progress in order to get our hats.

I used exercism.io mainly to learn Python. It's where you complete a programming task in whatever language you're programming for, you submit it, and you can see what anyone else had submitted for that problem. You could also resubmit a better solution using new information you find from other people's submissions for the problem.
What I am proposing is something like exercism.io's system, but for torquescript. I don't know much torquescript, which is why I'm suggesting it. Different problems might have new functions to learn, and ways of doing things. I don't really want this just for torquescript, but rather for torquescript used in Blockland. I don't exactly want to be programming all stuff using a console, it needs to have practical integration into Blockland add-on development. It doesn't need to have the sharing system or whatever, all I really need are the programming challenges.
So would someone here do this? I feel that it could help more of the community learn torquescript better than a tutorial could in my opinion.

His BLID is 34475, so I would assume he got Blockland from 2013-2014 or something (also he states he isn't all that new to Blockland). Maybe he is only joining the forums now now because someone told him about the forums (he could have just stumbled here by himself too), and then noticing his profile is also filled out he may have been editing the profile options, adding what information he could add there, including the profile picture.
