Rexx is a bit of a wacko I think.
Sigma and Conclave are fake and made up. Rexx happened to be around at the time. We were screwing with him.
It was more of a social project.
I was playing the role of a recruiter for a fake organization called Sigma.
Conclave was our fake nonexistant rival group.
Both Conclave and Sigma were owned and run by the same people. (Pretty interesting huh?)
The goal of the project was to get people to join Conclave by recruiting them into Sigma, and then kicking them out.
By doing this they willingly recruit themselves into Conclave instead of being pushed by other people into Sigma.
Sigma was supposed to look like the good guy and also designed to fail and later be destroyed. Leaving Conclave the only organization remaining.
Sigma's downfall was supposed to be the collaboration of everyone except the guys who were in on the entire project (about 10 people. Not giving names)
The Sigma/Conclave social project kinda died since some of the members started lacking interest in it, or quit because morals or whatever.
I also quit, more for lack of interest in the project.
THE PROJECT OFFICIALLY ENDED IN LIKE JANUARY OF 2014That was a year ago.
And though many people actually did join Conclave and was looking very successful. Most of them forgot Sigma and Conclave existed.
Rexx however, on the other hand. Has been obsessing about this stuff for the entire year. I guess he snapped recently.
No idea why he snapped. I, and none of my friends have touched the project since.
The project was not a trolling attempt. It was a sociology project an idea of various people in my social group. One of those "What if" moments in a group chat. And then we decided to just try it out. It went better than expected. I was almost considering starting a new social project.
Sigma and Conclave's goals were to fight for administrative control over ingame servers
on an online lego game.
We had to make them sound a bit bigger, so we told them that they were not just in BL, but in various other games as well.
The leaders of Conclave and Sigma were "Unknown" to the followers.
Sigma would tell its followers that:
"This user is a conclave, so we should hate them"
"That user is a conclave, hate him too"
"That user has admin at a lot of places, try to recruit him"
and finally. Sigma would "Fire" or "Dismiss" all its followers very harshly one by one.
Sigma gets the user emotionally attached to the group. And then harshly disposes of the user. Making them upset or something. And trying to get the user a sense of "Revenge". This makes the user "Seek out" the conclave recruiters. From there on we didn't have much of a plan. It was mostly a "Make it up as we go along" type deal.
Like business men with lack of a business plan.
