Awesome. I'm hosting this again btw.
Sweet :3

Also, idk if it's just me but I made a little test slayer minigame and the uniforms wanted to force players to have white hands and head, and it's adding a feather to the top of a head that doesn't have a hat accessory.. it was kinda weird :P

Want them to look like this:

But they look like this:

Hey guys! I'm working on a Demolition (Like Counter-Strike style) version of the map!  It should be done within the month as there isn't anything huge to rebuild.

to be fair, gamemodes don't make it any easier to create an enjoyable experience. they just streamline the process of distributing it and hosting it once it's completed
No, but packaging an enjoyable experience into a gamemode is incredibly easy, so if anyone creates something good, they should package and release it.  It lets a person who would normally only have the creative potential to host a family rp the ability to host a great deathmatch or something interesting.

You are part of the problem.  Don't complain about it, fix it.  Make a fun game mode and post it for other people to use.  If you make ANYTHING fun at ALL, release it.  And then: don't join stuffty servers.  If there's a crappy server, don't join it.  If there's a fun server with 2 people, join that one and invite more people.

Badspot made the Gamemode feature so people could easily host fun servers... But, instead of using it, people complained about it and kept making private gamemodes.

I've wondered what causes that crap. Good advice, thanks.

It was actually an RP where you tried to get out of the ruined slums of an old dead city by doing good things.
That actually sounds super fun hahaha

Can't remember who hosted it.. but it was a scavenger hunt for research on 1x1x4 print bricks.. and if you found all of them you got access to the room with an animated research GIF lol

Not to jump on the bandwagon here... but anything made by Tezuni  :cookieMonster:

School Rp's are pretty bad too..  I never understood why people would want to pretend they were at school while they played Blockland  :cookieMonster:

Pretty nice decal

I can see from the screenshot it has that annoying white lines problem. If you care to fix it, just throw a black square behind the entire decal and set it's opacity to 1%.  I usually do this with all my decals.  I have no idea why those awful white lines show up on decals.. It's especially annoying because it doesn't always happen..

I know it goes against your values, Cowboy, but making this a paid service really would make it a better service..  It keeps people who care enough to host a good server to pay for it, and gets rid of the people who hoard one of the very few spaces you have so they can occasionally host freebuilds.  It's honestly upsetting that only a couple of your slots are used by people who host decent content 24/7.  At the very least you need to figure out a way to keep players who don't actually need this service from using it.

Players who occasionally host freebuilds can easily do this on their own internet, you don't even have to forward your ports anymore.  Hosting is so easy.  Dedicated servers should be reserved for a certain level of quality.

Add-Ons / Re: Pioneers' Rock (v1) [RE-DOWNLOAD]

this is so awesome lol.

one suggestion: you should add a kicking up dirt texture to the back of it as it drives. It kinda looks like it's floating right now.  Doesn't have to be anything fancy just steal the jeep's or somethin.

My friends have similar problems. As someone who has used this system for years, in my eyes it is perfect and far superior to any other game like Minecraft, which to me seems super tedious.  One of my friends sat down and really gave it a chance and he said once he got the hang of the numpad it wasn't so bad at all.  Another friend of mine refuses to try it cause he's stubborn :P

In my eyes: Minecraft's click to build system is like MS Paint.  Everyone knows how to use it, it's simple, it does an okay job, but it tends to be tedious and slow.  Blockland is like Adobe Photoshop.  Hard to use at first, way more controls to remember, but in the end a far superior product that executes the job much more efficiently.
