Author Topic: Obama in my town soon.  (Read 2166 times)

Senator Obama is going to be in my town pretty soon, and me and a friend were planning to go see him. I've heard that people can start lining up pretty early for these things, and I was wondering if showing up about an hour and a half before the doors open would get us a seat in a venue of about 7,000. I live in a pretty large town, but not huge.

I live about an hour away from where his election day thing is happening  :cookieMonster:

Anyways, probably. Not huge town? Republican mostly or democrat?

I've had this person show up at my door before.

no way you need at least 3 hours the place will be packed!

With surrounding towns and cities, probably about 70,000.

And pretty Republican.

Obama almost got assassinated earlier this year (Or so I've been told).

Update.

I'm getting there three to two and a half hours before the doors open.

I'm not discussing who to vote for, I just thought I should throw that up there (I made it myself). I like Obama but I think I missed him coming to where I live.

Palin=handicapped

Amidoinitrite? :cookieMonster:

It was a joke. :P
I don't have any strong political opinions for these candidates.

Anywho, on topic: Obama was about 20 minutes away from here today.
