I don't like the way Hasbro makes the heads and hair. It's basically just G3 with some new graphics. The hair makes them look bald with confetti stuck to them, too. I actually enjoyed the mcdonalds toys because they looked like the characters.
I only bought an Applejack toy, and I don't think I'm ever going to get another one.
I guess they kinda look like G4 ponies if you look at their heads from a certain angle. But still, they're pretty crap. I just hate how their mane looks absolutely nothing like from the show.
I've also seen some miniature figurines, which don't actually look bad at all. You can get multiple of them in one box, but unfortunately, I was very disappointed to see that you can only get 4 of the mane 6. They were missing out Applejack and Fluttershy.
