Once upon a time I tried to search for a picture of a PTRS 41 on Google images with safesearch on strict.
I was shown nothing but pictures of some German pin-up model from the 1940's putting her bushy garden on display for about six pages.

Maybe now I'll actually be able to find the stuff I want

Safesearch has always been an option if you enabled it before you wouldn't have gotten research.

Also obviously you were quite interested in it or you would have not known she was German. ;)
