Anyone else got bedroom sound systems? (sound setup megathread?)

I've got an all-vintage bedroom stereo put together from thrift store pieces that's still WIP. I'm pretty much addicted to music, it's not even funny.



Early 80s Dual CS-607 turntable
1978 Sanyo JCX 2900K Receiver
POS 80s Fisher MS-107 speakers (in the market for new ones)

The stack of tapes on the top shelf is for my walkman, but I might get a tape deck for the stereo if I find one cheap.

Oh I have to obsessively check thrift stores constantly, this stuff shows up in there a lot but often doesn't even sit there a full day. Take a look around your local ones, you might find something good

harman / kardon soundsticks II (?). great quality speakers with an impressive subwoofer, but its a computer intended setup. id like to go all out on a vintage setup since i can get old hi-fi equipment easily but i dont have the room
