« on: December 05, 2012, 01:07:53 PM »Kalphiter's service is a 4 year old computer that was made to be "future proof" so the specs and stuff are still fantastic, when Lub is a brand new computer that is not future proof with almost the same specs. Lub's may look a little nicer because it's new, but you know with Kalphiter's that it has been working just fine for 4 years and going with him isn't risking startup issues.
So your saying with two computers that have the same specs, one will be be more future proof then the other... Logic...

Well, there was another incident where he took away Tomtom's server due to a supposed ToS violation reported by Glass, who had forgotten that he hadn't banned Tomtom from the special "mobile phone connection mode" that Tomtom had helped make. Tomtom did wind up recovering the stuff from his own computer eventually.
What? no its just kalphs console is stuffty and lets you log on... that and there is no ToS for kalphiters hosting. Hes just a crappy host.

« on: November 06, 2012, 02:37:04 PM »I've been told that any idiot can match beats so with that bias in mind personally I think it could have been done much better and it sounds like you literally just pasted a song on top of another song and said "close enough"
With practice most ppl can beat match normally but with technology nowerdsyas you can just hit a button and beat match. Heck even pioneers new 2000 nexus features a beat matching mode (although with 4 decks going that's quite handy)
Op if you are starting out try house/trance music as it has slower more defined beats ~128-133bpm makeing it a bit easyer to learn from.
