How much RAM does one player on a server take up?

Formula (a): 70 players = 1.2 GB RAM
Formula (b): 100 players ?= 1.67 GB RAM (1,750,000 KB)

Wait. How do you host so many servers with a promise of 99. o.0 Don't you have 16GB RAM? Or did you upgrade to that 32Gig server.

There are almost never times where more than 800 players are even on Blockland, why would he need to promise that much?

Minecraft also is impossible to gamble with, because any amount of players could be on any server. That's why I can have one price for a Blockland server of any size.

Anyone know how much CPU usage a server with 32people on it gets? (dedicated)

depends how powerful the CPU is ..

I'll say it this way: servers shouldn't never be using full CPU, but it's normally proportional to the amount of players on.

Do it like I did, measure it instead of asking.

depends how powerful the CPU is ..
and it depends on what the people are doing

32 people chatting .. not much at all
32 people in a 16x16 TDM = high cpu usage

or ... 31 people chatting and 1 person exploiting events = high cpu usage

For reference: less than full CPU for 128 players on a 2.4GHz CPU

Think it was 8% or something
