EDIT: Wait do we have any clues that are just numbers? Also did I just notice this or did the first three x's on the explosion page change to italics?

Are we just going to ignore this? This is clearly a clue left by Ana for the purpose of making this easier. (Hence why she changed the homepage.) Maybe it’s math of some sort? Do we have to change up the link?

Also I’ve got some ideas for the x’s. “What was he”, still going on about my theory of the 2 people who died in the explosion, Bob Leek was apparently a minor author. He made books or records on sailing and trade near Port Phillip. I’ve been trying to fill in the x’s with words. “Bob Leek was from XXX XXXX”, “Bob Leek did book and XXXX”, something rather along the lines maybe? I’ve also thought of looking up ‘Port Phillip’ and tried a few cities and towns but no avail.

I've already tried all the possible names of the people who were either killed or involved in the explosion so it's not that. But, judging how the source code's structure looks like the words were once again, place backwards, I think the question isn't "What was he" but "He was what" and possibly the first 3 x's that are italicized are actually the last 3 x's in that pattern.

according to a previous detail, ana said her blog was haunted, and we have the incident that killed people in an explosion.. here's some thoughts:

maybe put ghosts at the end of the link
or put demon at the end, considering explosions are basically giant fireballs, demons are associated with fire
both ghosts and demons haunt stuff, i think
maybe try ouija too

as for the -+-+, what uses that? maybe something with gas or a zoom feature?

edit: maybe we need to subtract, add, subtract, add some numbers we've gotten so far; considering that there seems to be a pattern of small numbers being used (small being under 500 at least), maybe we'll get a small number- alternatively, add, subtract, add, and subtract again since it's also a pattern for things to be backwards here, then put the sum to use somewhere

what would be associated with the sum we get (assuming we have a set of 4 numbers, anyways) or where could it be used?

when i was thinking about the -+-+ with math or magnetism, i suddenly thought of the element helium, which has two electrons (-) and two protons (+). group 18, 8A, 2, and 4.003. is there anything related to helium in a recent clue?

edit: forgot to put that helium is listed under noble gases, and the explosion is related to a gas incident.. possible connection? maybe the answer is on a pipeline? though i don't think helium can cause things to explode, but still a bit of thought

edit 2: with my previous post, alternatively we could tilt the -+-+ to get /x/x, so divide, multiply, divide, multiply, or maybe some technical coding thing from a previous post
