General Discussion / Jkaart's/jarelash's mini-empires

I recently hosted mini-empires a lot...because i like RPing and having your own "world".

=INFO=
-People from the US might not be able to join for a long time, due to the time difference (im european).

-Server is badmin-proof. I only give admin to people i can really trust. If i find out that someone is being a badmin, i'll take care of him as soon as possible.

-Era is usualy modern/future, but i sometimes host a medieval one.

-I like detailed builds and good RPing. So pointless wars are no.

-Im trying to host it dedicated, so the time difference won't be a problem.

Off Topic / My "epic" roblox experience

So yeah, after about a 3 year long break i decide to check out roblox. Everything seems okay, lots of new stuff....
Then my friend asks me to join the game he's in...thats when the boulder began to roll...
The game was called "conquerors". It was a cool RTS game. We played it for about 20 mins when some random dude joins and spawns 20 school busses in the middle of the map. Then we go to a hole in the wall game. When i join, i see a stack of 17 different team spawn points...
Then we go to a zombie survival game. When we played for a while. Somebody joined and banned eveyone, except himself. Then we go to deception infection. First round someone named x5x5 deletes the whole map and leaves the server.
THEN we go to a "build a base and have a war, where someone kept spwankilling me with a knife...
Last, but not least i went to a minigame server, where a guy kept hacking the minigame selector "he was able to choose the minigame, without anyone being in the selection room". After i tell him, that hacking a kids' lego game doesn't make him cool he doesn't hack me...HE SENDS ME A FRIEND REQUEST ._.

So yeah...

So yea, pretty much every topic, where you have to say something about the above person's avatar, everyone says something about me being new. Trolling or just a bad joke? I don't see why the FFIV monster "black knight" makes me look new. I mean i think it's cool so i put it as my avatar. Look...before you start calling me new...how about checking my profile to see how long i've been to BL. Now im not mad or anything, i just don't see the point...

General Discussion / Half life deathmatches remade in blockland

So i had this idea, that im gonna start making BL versions of the Half Life 1 deathmatch maps. I'll probably start about 8-10 hours after i post this. Any good/okay builders and eventers are welcome to help and im taking suggestions on what map i should do first.

Jkaart's Dirt city racetrack



Ok, so i started working on this about 4 days ago and now its finnished and ready for racing.
But this doesn't mean that i won't stop adding stuff into it. For example, the city roads could use
some decorations and obstachles and the edges of the track are completely empty. Im going to add stuff like grandstands and a proper starting area. Credit to some guy (thats his BL name) for the starting lights and help with the track.

Help / RTB unknown command crash

So yeah, i got my BL working again, managed to install it prefectly, downloaded all the add ons and managed to get a server started, everything works perfectly, but when i open another window and go back to BL, it crashed...
Console said something about unknown RTB command. This hasnt happened to me before...

Suggestions & Requests / Borderlands add ons (Anyone got time to make these?)

I had a topic about this a long time ago (well more like 1 request), but nobody answered it. So im planning to make a borderlands - style deathmatch/RP and i need the following things:


-Outrider-

Would come with two variances:
-Machinegun turret
-Rocket launcher turret

-Claptrap-

Now this isn't actualy NEEDED for the deathmatches, but it would be cool in the RP.

-Character Face and chest decals-

I know someone has made some of these, but they looked awful. Also i havent seen any chest decals for the characters.

-Weapons-

Another add-on requested by many people. I know it would be impossible to make ALL of the weapons (that would be a million bazillion add ons!) but if someone could make like, 3-4 different SMGs, Shotguns, Combat rifles, Magnums, pistols, rocket launchers and maybe 1-2 eridian guns.
The guns could have:
-Ironsights/scopes
-Reloading
-Sounds from Borderlands




For now, i wont need the weapon pack so much, cause im using T+T 2, but the other add ons would be good.

Help / Failed to perform Bzip2 decompression

Well, its about time this happens to me aswell. I had these random crashes on some server saying "Failed to perform Bzip2 decompression". I didnt care about that much, but then it started to happen on more and more servers. I just uninstalled and re-installed BL. The setup went really fast, its almost like it wouldn't have installed some files or stuff. Anyways, now when i launch blockland, it instantly says "Failed to perform Bzip2 decompression". I checked BL forums for any help...no results, only about the server crashes. I've tried to ask my friends about it, they don't answer me...Can anyone help?

I started this topic to see if im not the only one playing it. For those who don't know what wesnoth is: Battle for wesnoth is a free turn-based strategy game with a fantasy theme.

Heres what im working on:

-Battle for middle earth-maps

-Underground maps

-Other random maps

Im taking map requests and suggestions. Pics and stuff coming soon :D

Games / Minecraft seed: pandorasbox

Okay, today i had the most amazing experience in minecraft EVER (after the 1.0 update). I started a new world, so i could start an adventure map. I wanted to try out a new seed. I typed in "pandorasbox" and disabled buildings. When i first spawned it was a taiga biome. I took out the map to see any possible nearby biomes.
Strangely there was a spot in the map already revealed (not the spot i spawned at). It had a strange, almost
straight shoreline going in it so i decided to check it out, i was very confused. So i got there and...HOLY SMOKES! The sea was really deep from around the shoreline, but the shore itself was completely flat. Almost like the terrain generator had forgotten to finish one side of a hill. So i checked how long this "square island" was and i found a point, with the sea-level rising to almost 1 block only. Also i found a small 1/2 house village right in the middle of the island. I dunno if its a bug with the generator. Possibly it generated an ocean biome, but added different chunks (or whatever their called) somewhere.

We all have been banned at least once from a game. Sometimes for a reason and sometimes not. I want you to tell me about your weirdest bans. I can start: 1. Blockland: I was on a survival server that looked just like minecraft. I said "this is just like minecraft..." BAM! I got banned from the server forever. 2. TM united forever: I joined a server for about 5 seconds when i got kicked. I rejoined and asked why was i banned. The host responded: "You didn't say hi!" Well i told him i was too busy driving i couldn't answer. Then i got banned. 3.Minecraft: Iwas on my friend Rasher2004's server messing around in creative. He had blown up my house a while ago, so i wanted my revenge. I blew up his entchantment table-house. He got really pissed off, de-OP'd me and kept killing me with creepers. Finaly he banned me for a reason im not going to type here.

Help / Tier + Tactical 2.1 Won't show up at my add on list

It's me again and i've got another problem with T+T 2.1 . I downloaded the add ons and unzipped them to my add ons folder, but when i start BL i can't see them on my add ons list!
