>dispose of artillery

>more like artillery dispose of you

Germany extends a free trade agreement to the Swiss...

Germany continually supports militarization of society.

Federal positions are opened to the German man; no longer are Germans restricted by class to their right to partake in government...

Susan B. Anthony is arrested after attempting to vote in the 1872 election. In court, she notes the inequities of the law and purposeful conservative interpretation of the Constitution. She notes that there is to be no taxation without representation, and that the recent amendments to the Constitution, which guarantee the right of black men to vote, should guarantee all citizens of age to be able to vote.

She is shut down in court and sentenced to 6 months in prison, however the Republican-held Supreme Court finds this unconstitutional and overturns the decision. It is decided that the Fourteenth Amendment's equal protection clause must apply to all people, women included.

Precedent of the Supreme Court now dictates that it is lawful for women to vote.

i rlly dont want to play anymore, so anyone else can take the 3rd French Empire due to the shift in power.
dude, don't do that.

i felt like stuff too when losing in previous roleplays. but if you look at irl, france bounced back after toppling its emperor and becoming a republic.
this game is about conquering and winning, but also losing and knowing how to bite back.

Germany starts the process to centralize the militaries of the federal states.

amidst the prussian victory against france, all german minors (north+south) minus bavaria have decided to integrate with the kingdom of prussia

bavaria stands alone as the only austria-sympathetic state
Wow would you look at that.

Austria, no need to fear. You can have some monies from French.

Demands: Full annexation of Alsace-Lorraine.
War reparations for German/Breton suffering (split w/ war participation in mind).
Brittany goes to Britain.

In return, we will return those from the embassy. France will maintain that these men are criminals, and so any Germans caught during the war will be returned in a prisoner exchange. Except the one that ordered the guns to be aimed. He'll rot.

German Empire.
Now.

Prussian King Wilhelm I becomes the first Kaiser.
Otto Von Bismarck becomes first Chancellor of Germany (but retains all former Prussian titles, due to how it all WURKS).

Bavaria and Austria's independence are now guaranteed. Bavarians and ethnic German Austrians are offered German citizenship.

This war isn't bullstuff...

69
Well i did ask prussia for an alliance like 2 times.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I purposely didn't call Italy or Russia because that would be ridiculous. Russia has no reason, and Italy really doesn't have any cause for war. Dog piling is what I hated before, because it is basically the result of the conniving bullstuff (see: megasupereast+saudi arabia alliance that nuked usa for no apparent reason) seen in previous role plays.

idk why everyone is ganging up on me in the first place when im trying to be the voice of reason, while Prussia is having a temper-tantrum and declaring war on me.
OOC, read up on some history. Historically, Otto (whether he intended to or not) maneuvered the French to declare war on Prussia/North German Confederation so they can gain the sway of the rest of the Germans after kicking Austria's stuff in years earlier. Basically to form Germany.

-

Prussian forces push forward and out to the flanks, using artillery and general discipline to break the integrity of the French "line".

The war is called. Napoleon III declares;
"The victor for the land shall be decided with blood and iron!"
The french line holds strong, fighting back German advances. Some Germans even fight in the defense of France.

The first battle in the war begins at Lauterbourg when French infantry and Grenadiers spot Prussian line infantry crossing the German border. Cannonballs and grape shot fire across the fields of the village towards the enemy infantry, and so do musket balls. There's still time to react from the Germans/Prussians

also bolded is my problems.
don't edit it, just wait for jairo to come and mediate the war with dice rolls and brown townysis and stuff

this isn't a "line" thing. this isn't hoi4. Prussian armies massed on one single point while the French spread themselves thin.
logistics, especially french logistics, aren't fast enough to hold lines.

Since everyone in the Embassy was detained, Prussia basically printed news about French aggression and how they held up in their embassy, threatening a nearby group of officers who weren't doing anything, even KILLING A FEW OFFICERS.
-
Prussia accepts integration, giving all of the minors (of course!!) proper representation in the now Federal Diet... (in the lower chamber).
-
Otto Von Bismarck, the chancellor/PM of North German Confederation, makes an outward plead to the Southern Minors, basically dissing Austrian attempts for integration. Prussia has ALWAYS!!! been forward, initiating the push against the Danish menace and the French menace. Do not make the mistake of getting under a flag with the Austrians. NEVERTHELESS, PRUSSIA CALLS AUSTRIA FOR WAR.
--
WAR
North Germany delivers a declaration of war to France, proving to the SOUTHERN MINORS that Prussia-led North Germany plays NO GAMES with the Frankreich, ALL GAME, SOME TALK. They cite 1. Nationalism 2. The Berlin Massacre

Prussian-led forces mobilizes FAST AGAINST THE FRENCH LINE, using SUPERIOR RAILROADS TO SUPPLY and PRUSSIAN ARTILLERY TO DISPERSE INFANTRY.
NORTH GERMAN FORCES MANEUVER FOR BATTLE.

72
The officer is not one for causing immediate conflict, so he has his soldiers shoulder their arms for right now. He makes further warnings in German about how they will engage them if they enter the embassy violently.
50 more troops show from the garrison.

It is actually illegal to threaten officers or members of the military with force, so we're going to have to arrest all of you (and then we'll figure out what to do with you later). Please peacefully lay down your arms.
Troops begin to surround the embassy.

73
They do not. There are only like, 8 soldiers holding their swords out.

An officer that was sent to warn the local garrison of a group of soldiers holding up in the French embassy pointing guns at the officers comes back with 10 men.

74
They do not stand down.

The diplomat attempts to leave Paris.

75
Prussian officers surround the French embassy in Berlin and swipe their swords on its steps.
