what?

He signed the petition.  You know, the one the thread is about.

The funny thing is I really wonder if anyone who complains about this has ever really been bothered when they look at their money.
As a cashier a good amount of money passes through my hands when i work. I have not once looked upon the bills taken notice of the in god we trust bit.
The only writing on a bill that matters to the common man is the number which represents the amount of money it is worth.

when does the nation's motto ever actually matter?

don't try to pull the "oh i won the argument because you failed to address my stupid point"

Is this really such a big issue we needed a petition about it? I mean, we have to deal with issues of Abortion, Birth Control... Wondering if we should have "In God we trust" on the back of our currency? Seriously, who the forget cares? Don't try giving me that "separating religion from state" bullstuff, one of the bases of freedom in this country was Freedom of Religion. Of course, they fought for the main religion at the time for them, Christianity. However, it is a part of history. This generation's youth should know what the Founding Fathers fought for.

Please don't use the term Birth Control like that, it confuses the issue.

Uh... It's an issue... I didn't say it was a freedom or anything like that...

and mount stuffed bear arms on your wall

Just once I'd like to see an issue be taken seriously without half the forum turning to hostile adolescent debate mode.
